Our Story
La Casita Kitchen is a Halifax-based wholesale food business cooked up by two Latino friends - Vanessa and Alex.
A natural-born cook, Vanessa has long impressed those around her with her talent for imagining and crafting tasty dishes. As a Cuban living in Halifax, she always imagined bringing the flavours of Cuba to her new home.
A criollo from Venezuela, Alex has an expansive background in the food industry, covering everything from fine dining to a cafeteria. Living in Canada for 25 years, Alex appreciates the value of diversity and the importance of maintaining and promoting your roots.
Together, they have built a thriving food business from the ground up based on delicious food and efficient processes.
